About
Creekside Event Center is a wedding venue in Colorado Springs with eight indoor and outdoor spaces. This modern farmhouse wedding and event venue is spacious with light and bright rooms.
Location
Creekside Event Center is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, just 6 miles east of Downtown Colorado Springs. This modern and clean venue is about 8 miles from the Colorado Springs Airport, conveniently located for guests flying in from out of state. This venue is easily accessible to local areas such as Monument, Black Forest, Manitou Springs, Fort Carson, Briargate, Falcon, Cimarron Hills and surrounding areas.
Getting Ready
Selina and John’s wedding started with the getting ready moments. The bridal suit at Creekside Event Center is spacious with floor to ceiling mirrors on one wall, which makes the room feel twice the size. The white walls and chic decor accents made the space very comfortable and great for capturing photos and videos. The groomsmen and groom also have a room they can prepare in.
Ceremony
John and Selina intended to have an outdoor ceremony, but due to the stormy weather changes, they moved it inside. This is a great feature of this venue, as the option to have an indoor or outdoor ceremony can be very critical in Colorado, a state with such drastically changing weather. The indoor farm style ceremony was accented with white walls and barrels.
Cocktail Hour
After the ceremony, we headed outdoors to get some shots with the bridal party and the couple. We went to one of their outdoor ceremony spaces. It was a large grassy area surrounded by tall leafy tree and a little bridge over a stream. This outdoor ceremony area features a classic white gazebo for wedding ceremonies.
Reception
Inside is ample space for dinner and dancing. The reception area had a tall ceiling and a large stage. Hundreds of guests can gather here to celebrate the night away.
